A Note From The Founder
I'm Josh Parra. Creator. Author. Cancer Fighter.
Throughout my cancer fight — through disability, illness, and everything that comes with it — I searched for a brand that matched where I was mentally. There are great adventure and outdoor brands that embody the spirit of a strong, active person. None of them matched the mental space I was in.
Performance gear looked different for me. It didn't need to endure climbing mountains or the beating sun on the deck of a fishing boat. It needed to help me get through treatment days. Days I was too sick to get out of bed. Showing up to family gatherings. Going grocery shopping with staring eyes.
I needed a psychological anchor for hard days. That's why I built Hard To Kill.
